About us

A veteran-owned firm that builds for people who need a way in

Maximo Tijerina started the firm after building ramps for friends and neighbors who came home from the service.

He served in the Army, then worked as a carpenter. He found that most families know what they need but not how to ask a grant or a contractor for it. So the firm writes everything down: the measurements, the drawing, the estimate, the permit.

Five of us work out of a shop on Blanco Road. We do four kinds of work and we turn down the rest.

  • Veteran-owned

  • Five people, one shop

  • Spanish spoken on the crew

  • Everything in writing

How we work

Three habits we keep

  • We measure before we promise

A drawing on a photo of your house comes before any price.

  • We write it all down

Scope, materials, permits and the payment schedule, in words your VA agent and your family can read.

  • We leave the house clean

Floors masked and swept at the end of every day.
